About Us
The story behind the new dental practice in the Phoenix-West quarter – and the dentist behind it.
Utku Pul, M.Sc. – Your dentist
Utku Pul studied dentistry at Marmara University in Istanbul and graduated second in his class. He has been licensed to practise in Germany since 2016. He went on to complete curricula in implantology, aesthetic dentistry (DGÄZ) and orthodontics, and a Master of Science in Endodontology at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
After the implantology curriculum he realised where his real passion lies: preserving the natural tooth. One tooth with a crack reaching almost to the bone, for which extraction had already been recommended, he was able to restore – the patient has been using it for years. His conviction: a tooth that can be saved should be saved – and the result should look beautiful too.
Since childhood he has been fascinated by a future in which people and artificial intelligence work together as a matter of course. He researches AI-assisted radiographic diagnostics together with LMU Munich; the results have been published in the Journal of Dentistry and the International Endodontic Journal. He is currently a doctoral student at the University of Bern. With his company BodoTech he develops the AI assistant Paira and robotic automation for dental practices – with clear rules for safety and data protection.
Understand, Don't Just Trust
At Puls Zahnmedizin, we don't just explain what we do — we show you. On-screen, you see in real time what our intraoral scanner captures. AI-powered diagnostics make findings visible and comprehensible. We believe that those who understand what's happening in their mouth make better decisions about their dental health. Transparency is not a marketing phrase — it's our treatment principle.
Technology in Service of People
AI reception assistant Paira greets you in three languages. Service robot Bodo brings you a drink. The Aoralscan Elite intraoral scanner replaces uncomfortable impressions. And our in-house 3D lab produces dental restorations on site. Every technology in our practice has a clear purpose: to make your visit more comfortable, precise, and efficient. Technology for technology's sake has no place here.
Wilo Health Cube — Our Home in Phoenix-West
The Wilo Health Cube in Dortmund-Hörde is more than a building — it represents the transformation of the Phoenix-West quarter from an industrial site to an innovation district. Here, where steel was once forged, modern healthcare is taking shape. The architecture combines industrial heritage with forward-thinking design, providing the perfect setting for a practice that unites tradition and innovation.
Building the practice
Follow how the Wilo Health Cube is becoming our new practice — from the AI reception to the fully digital workflow.
From Scan to Crown: Our Fully Digital Workflow
Precise intraoral scans, AI diagnostics and 3D printing: how our fully digital workflow makes treatments faster and more precise, often in one appointment.
Service Robots in a Dental Practice: Future or Gimmick?
Robots at the dentist? What sounds like science fiction is deliberate reality for us: our Pudu T300 is the logistical backbone of the practice.
Why We're Building an AI Reception Assistant
Phone queues, language barriers, limited availability: we're developing Paira, a multilingual AI assistant who handles routine tasks.
