A direct filling is built up directly in the tooth in a single appointment. An inlay is fabricated in a laboratory or using CAD/CAM technology and then cemented in place. Inlays are particularly suited for larger defects as they offer superior fit accuracy and load bearing capacity. We advise you individually on which restoration is optimal.

All three are indirect restorations made from ceramic or composite, fabricated in a laboratory. An Inlay fills the defect within the tooth cusps. An Onlay additionally covers one or more cusps. An Overlay covers the entire chewing surface. Which variant is suitable depends on the size of the defect.

We work fully digitally: following a high precision intraoral scan, the inlay is designed on a computer and fabricated in our in house 3D lab from high performance ceramics. Traditional impressions with silicone material are no longer necessary. In many cases, the restoration can be placed within a few days.

Yes, for minor cosmetic corrections, Composite Bonding is an excellent alternative to veneers. It is more cost effective, requires less tooth reduction, and can be done in a single appointment. Bruxism refers to involuntary teeth grinding or jaw clenching, which often occurs at night. Possible consequences include tooth structure loss, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), headaches, and tension of the masticatory muscles. Early diagnosis and treatment can limit these consequences.

Thanks to our in-house 3D lab, we can produce certain restorations such as provisional crowns or splints in a single appointment. The SprintRay Midas chairside printer fabricates up to three crowns in under ten minutes. For more complex work, a second appointment is necessary, but wait times are significantly shorter than with external laboratories thanks to our in-house lab.

Our Aoralscan Elite achieves an accuracy of 5 micrometers through the combination of intraoral scanning and photogrammetry. This is many times more precise than conventional alginate or silicone impressions, which typically show deviations of 50 to 100 micrometers. Additionally, the uncomfortable impression material is eliminated, making the treatment significantly more comfortable.
